The Ashes 2023

Australia and England are gearing up for one of the biggest competitions in cricket this summer – The Ashes.

The Ashes first began in 1882, when England were beaten at home for the first time by Australia, and they’ve been battling it out for 140 years since.

This year both sides are diving in headfirst, with changes to both teams, including new lead coaches and captains; the historic rival sides will both have their sights set on taking the Ashes home in July.

Who Will Be In The Ashes Team?

Ben Stokes captains the team for the first time in The Ashes Series, after impressing by playing an exciting new brand of test cricket. If you missed the action in Pakistan, we can confirm you won't want to miss this one…

The full squad is yet to be announced, however with Stokes at the helm being joined by fan favourites Jimmy Anderson, Joe Root and Stuart Broad, alongside the up-and-coming generation of stars it will be a team to beat.

Who Will Win The 2023 Ashes?

Australia are the current holders of The Ashes after England’s woeful display in their 2021-22 visit down under.

However since this performance, England are becoming one of the most feared Test sides in the world under the captaincy of Ben Stokes offering real hope to fans.

With recent figures, Stokes has led his team to 9 wins out of 10 and the Test match in Pakistan saw England make a historic 3-0 clean sweep against them. Before he took charge, they had only won one in 17. This turnaround has been even more rapid than England’s run-rate.

Widening eyes and hopes – Will England continue to play this way to bring it home…

Where And When Are The Ashes 2023?
