Test cricket is the longest and most traditional format of the game, played over five days with each team batting and bowling twice. Considered the pinnacle of international cricket, Test matches often produce memorable moments and historic rivalries, with the red ball and white clothing adding to its classic appeal.

Test Series Season 2025

England’s 2025 Test cricket summer features a historic and action-packed schedule, beginning with a one-off Test match against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge from 22–25 May, their first Test in England since 2003. The season continues with a highly anticipated five-match Test series against India, with fixtures held at Headingley, Edgbaston, Lord’s, Old Trafford, and The Kia Oval from 20 June to 4 August.

Test Series Season 2026

England’s men’s Test cricket fixtures for the 2026 summer will see two high-profile series played on home soil. The season begins with a three-match Test series against New Zealand, including a historic fixture at The Kia Oval from 17–21 June, the first time the venue hosts a Test in June. Later in the summer, England will take on Pakistan in a two-match Test series. With matches hosted at some of the country’s leading cricket grounds, the 2026 Test summer promises another exciting chapter in England’s red-ball calendar.
