Laver Cup 2026: Tennis Returns to London
The Laver Cup 2026 returns to London this September, bringing some of the biggest names in tennis to The O2 for three days of world class competition. From 25 to 27 September, Team Europe and Team World will go head to head in a unique team format that combines elite tennis with an electric atmosphere.
Following its memorable London debut in 2022, the Laver Cup returns with another impressive line up of players and a weekend of high intensity singles and doubles. With every match contributing to the overall team score, the action builds throughout the weekend as both sides battle to lift the trophy.
What Is the Laver Cup?
The Laver Cup is a unique three day tennis competition that sees six of the best players from Europe take on six of the best players from the rest of the world. Inspired by golf’s Ryder Cup, the tournament brings together players who are usually rivals on the court to compete as teammates.
Matches take place across singles and doubles, with the points becoming increasingly valuable as the weekend progresses. Friday matches are worth one point, Saturday matches are worth two and Sunday matches are worth three, meaning the competition can go right down to the wire.
The Stars Set to Take Centre Stage
The 2026 Laver Cup will bring together an impressive line up of tennis talent, with some of the sport’s biggest names representing both sides. Team Europe will feature Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Flavio Cobolli, Rafael Jódar, Jakub Menšík and Casper Ruud, while Team World will be led by Alexander Bublik, Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul, Ben Shelton and Learner Tien.
With Grand Slam champions, rising stars and some of the world’s top ranked players all sharing the same court, the weekend promises plenty of competitive match ups and new doubles partnerships. Captained by Yannick Noah for Team Europe and Andre Agassi for Team World, there is no shortage of tennis history and experience on either side.
