With the 2026 Formula 1 season in full swing, attention is already turning towards 2027. Another global season is on the horizon, with returning circuits, new developments and plenty of exciting race weekends to look forward to.
The full 2027 calendar is expected to be announced in autumn 2026. Later than usual due to ongoing uncertainty surrounding the Middle East and its potential impact on the opening races. F1 is continuing to work through contingency plans before finalising the schedule.

F1 2027 Calendar: What We Know So Far
The 2027 season is set to feature 24 Grands Prix, with several changes already confirmed. The Turkey GP will return to Istanbul Park from 2027, while Portugal returns to the Algarve International Circuit for races in 2027 and 2028.
There will also be changes across the European schedule. Zandvoort will host its final Dutch Grand Prix in 2026, while Spa Francorchamps and Barcelona will alternate, with Belgium hosting in 2027.
With the full schedule due to be announced in autumn, the final race order and dates are still to come. For now, these confirmed changes give us the first glimpse of what the 2027 season will look like.
F1 2027 Preliminary Schedule
While the official calendar is still to be released, a preliminary schedule has emerged for the 2027 season. The current plan is to begin in Bahrain in March before travelling across Asia, Europe, North America and South America, and concluding in Abu Dhabi in December. These dates remain provisional and could change before the official calendar is announced.

British Grand Prix
Silverstone is one of the highlights of the F1 season, with a passionate home crowd and a circuit steeped in Formula 1 history. Monaco Grand Prix

Singapore Grand Prix
The Singapore Grand Prix brings a different feel to the F1 calendar, with the Marina Bay Street Circuit hosting the race under the lights. The combination of a city backdrop, night time racing and a vibrant atmosphere makes Singapore one of the most distinctive race weekends of the season.
Turkish Grand Prix
One of the biggest changes for 2027 is the return of the Turkish Grand Prix at Istanbul Park. The circuit is known for its challenging layout, significant elevation changes and famous Turn 8. After last appearing on the calendar in 2021, its return gives fans another destination to add to their F1 plans.
