The Turkish Grand Prix
The Turkish Grand Prix at Istanbul Park is renowned for its challenging layout, dramatic elevation changes and one of the most famous corners in Formula 1, the multi-apex Turn 8. First joining the F1 calendar in 2005, Istanbul Park quickly developed a reputation as one of the championship’s most technically demanding circuits, testing drivers with its combination of high-speed corners, long straights and demanding changes in direction.
Turn 8 is undoubtedly the circuit’s defining feature, with drivers committing to a long, sweeping left-hander while managing high speeds and significant aerodynamic loads. The track has produced plenty of memorable racing throughout its history, with Felipe Massa taking three victories during the circuit’s original run and Lewis Hamilton securing his seventh World Championship at Istanbul Park in 2020.
Beyond the racing, the Turkish Grand Prix offers the opportunity to experience Istanbul, one of the world’s most distinctive cities, where Europe and Asia meet. Following its return to the calendar in 2027, the Turkish Grand Prix will be staged at Istanbul Park as part of a five-year agreement running through to 2031.
DTB Sports and Events provide premium hospitality experiences for the Turkish Grand Prix, combining world-class Formula 1 racing with exceptional hospitality and the unique opportunity to experience Istanbul, making it an exciting destination for both clients and F1 fans.
