The Biggest Night in British Music: The BRIT Awards 2024

The annual celebration of the UK’s finest musical talent is back for its 31st year and each year it gets bigger and better!

After this year’s success, the 2024 BRITs will follow in its footsteps by also taking place on a Saturday evening, expected to attract the most engaged audience yet. This year the live show will take place on 2nd March at the iconic O2 Arena. With a new date and new ambition, next years event is shaping to be the best yet.

Last Year

Last year’s BRIT Awards was a huge success, especially for Harry Styles who swept the board and won all four categories that he was nominated for. Other winners included Wet Leg, Beyoncé, Becky Hill and David Guetta. The show also featured performances from Harry, Sam Smith, Stormzy and Cat Burns, drawing figures of just under 4 million viewers, the highest in three years. 

BRITs 2024

For the 26th year in a row, Mastercard will continue as the headline partner for the BRIT Awards 2024. Mastercard is committed to supporting the BRIT School, which celebrates the next generation of creative talent.

Whilst nominations and performances to expect will not be announced until the month leading up to the night. Previous years have seen the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and many other talented UK artists. Each year huge names produce iconic show-stopping performances. Throughout the years this includes the Spice Girls fantastic performance of ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ to Adele’s Flawless performance of her track ‘Someone Like You’ which left the audience with goosebumps.

Last year, Mo Gilligan hosted the BRIT Awards for the second time, taking over from Jack Whitehall. He was a popular choice with viewers, but will he be back in 2024?
