The Monaco Grand Prix
The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the most prestigious and iconic races in Formula 1 history, first held in 1929 and forming part of the inaugural Formula 1 World Championship in 1950. Set against the glamorous streets of Monte Carlo, the 3.337 km circuit is famous for its narrow layout, tight corners, and unforgiving barriers, demanding exceptional precision and skill from every driver.
Over 78 laps and a total race distance of 260.286 km, drivers tackle legendary sections such as the Fairmont Hairpin, Tunnel, and Swimming Pool chicane, making nearly 5,000 gear changes throughout the race. Monaco remains one of the most technically challenging tracks on the calendar.
