The Barcelona Grand Prix

Built in 1991 as part of the Barcelona Olympic Games development program, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has long been a historic cornerstone of the Formula 1 calendar. Rebranded as the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, the 4.657 km track is widely considered the ultimate barometer for a car’s aerodynamic efficiency due to its demanding mix of long, high-speed straights and a punishing variety of low, medium, and high-speed corners.

A sweeping €50 million circuit modernisation project has newly optimised the venue’s infrastructure, adding eco-friendly solar fields and a completely re-engineered track layout that highlights pure mechanical precision. It is a venue steeped in iconic racing milestones, where the gruelling track surface and complex aerodynamics offer an unyielding test of engineering mastery.

Guests can experience elite, five-star luxury with gourmet catering, open bars, and exclusive pit lane walks via the Formula 1 Paddock Club and the VIP lounges.

The celebration officially spills over into the heart of the city with the massive pre-race Fan Festival hosted at the iconic Plaça de Catalunya, allowing travelers to effortlessly pair the high-speed thrill of the track with Barcelona’s legendary tapas bars, beachside nightlife, and historic landmarks.
