Henley Royal Regatta Hospitality
Henley Royal Regatta is highly regarded within the British social calendar and has the air of an English summer garden party. The event is well attended by some of the sport’s top athletes with many Olympic medallists and World Champions contesting the prestigious silverware.
The Regatta has been run since 1839 and first received royal patronage in 1851 after a visit from H.R.H Prince Albert who to this day has an event named after him. Races are unconventional from standard international rowing as they are raced over a total distance of 2112m rather than the usual 2000m. Each race features two crews racing side by side where the winner will progress through the draw in a knock out style format similar to that seen in sports such as Tennis over a 5 day program.
Henley Royal Regatta Hospitality Exclusivity's
Previous competitors at the regatta have included the likes of Sir Steve Redgrave, Matthew Pinsent and James Cracknell. Henley Royal Regatta provides the rare opportunity to watch some of the current Olympic stars in action, including many overseas competitors, racing for their club crews.
DTB has crafted the best Henley Royal Regatta Hospitality packages, so you can enjoy all of the festivities such an event brings comfortably whether you are entertaining guests or strengthening corporate relations.
With the regatta tow path proving so popular throughout the week the best place to socialise with the backdrop of the races is most definitely within hospitality. Marquees and stands are erected each year to accommodate the regatta along the 2000m stretch, with all facilities packed away after regatta week in order to maintain the site’s elegance. Although hospitality options include a champagne reception, the chosen drink of choice by many throughout the day is Pimms, enjoyed in the British summer sun.
