8th - 21st November 2026
Debuting for the first time in 2026, the Nations Championship brings together the top twelve international rugby teams for a fierce Northern versus Southern Hemisphere showdown.
The 2026 Nations Championship marks a revolutionary shift in the international rugby calendar, establishing a structured, biennial tournament that bridges the gap between World Cups. Launching in July, the competition pits the Six Nations giants against the Southern Hemisphere’s elite, the four SANZAAR powerhouses (South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and Argentina) alongside Fiji and Japan. The tournament is divided into two geographic conferences, with teams playing three away matches in the July window and three home matches in November. Every point earned across these six rounds is vital, as the final standings determine the seedings for a grand-scale Finals Weekend at London's Allianz Stadium (Twickenham) from 27th–29th November 2026 . This climax features a "Super Bowl" style double-header format where each team faces its equivalently ranked counterpart from the opposing hemisphere, culminating in a 1st-versus-1st clash to crown the inaugural global champion.
