The Masters of Monte Carlo is a professional tennis tournament, organized every year in April in Roquebrune Cap Martin, on the grounds of the Monte Carlo Country Club For more than 100 years, the Rolex Masters Series tournament in Monte Carlo has been one of the most prestigious athletes, being essential in the field of international tennis Since 2000.
The tournament is part of the Masters Series it becomes one of the 9 most significant tournaments in the world (excluding Grand Slams); starting the season on clay by bringing together the best players on the planet each year in one of the most beautiful tennis clubs in the world.
First played way back in 1897, the Monte-Carlo Masters has consistently held enormous pedigree, becoming a part of the Grand Prix Tour, before becoming an ATP event. The tournament still exhibits its prestige today: it is an ATP Masters 1000 event and always brings together the best male players from around the world, despite not having an ATP mandatory player commitment. With some courts featuring spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, and others showcasing the decadent backdrop of Monte-Carlo on the cliffs above, this tournament is also as famous for its unique locale as it is for its world-class tennis!
