DTB Sports and Events team congratulates England for a convincing and compelling performance at the Six Nations Rugby 2017. We love jaw-dropping rugby events.
The 11th March 2017 will be a day that’s remembered by England rugby fans. Even those who don’t count themselves as enthusiasts will have raised a smile at the news that England beat their old adversaries Scotland to win the championship.
England were set on mission completion for their match at Twickenham and their achievement led not only to the retention of the Six Nations Rugby title and an inspiring hat-trick of tries from Jonathon Joseph but records were broken with a hope of more to follow.
England have made it to 18 matches unbeaten which equals New Zealand’s record.
Incidentally, the England v. Scotland women’s match was played earlier the same day and that offered a favourable sign for their male counterpart’s success. The England team beat Scotland’s team 64-0 and made their tally 4/4 wins. Kay Wilson scored an incredible 7 tries.
It could be said that the men had to win to complete the thrashing and ensure that the England flag stayed aloft. The final score for the men’s match was 61-21 to England and the triumphant team then had their eyes on another trophy and a further record breaking occasion in Dublin at the final match of the championship, by taking the Grand Slam.
Six Nations Rugby 2017 is now over yet…
