Event Hospitality from DTB

Once Christmas is over and life begins to get back to a semblance or normality, you might start looking for the perfect way to entertain your clients. And what better way than a night at the ballet. From 26th February to 15th April, the Royal Opera will be home to Giselle, which has been described as ‘the greatest of all romantic ballets’.

You and your guests could enjoy a superb night at the ballet with corporate hospitality from DTB. Contact our advisors to create the perfect package for this fabulous event and they will ensure your every need is catered to.

The Ballet

Giselle is a two-act ballet that features outstanding traditional choreography. The story is based on the peasant girl Giselle who is heartbroken to discover that her lover is to marry another woman. The performance will be held on the main stage of the Royal Opera House, and there will be a number of evening and matinee performances throughout the production run.

Background

Giselle was first performed in 1841 in Paris. The core of the story has remained the same since then, despite the choreography changing many times over the years. Fans of the ballet will be treated to some of the most beautiful dancing, with the character of Giselle requiring a dancer to perform many dramatic and technically challenging steps. The popularity of this ballet has endured throughout the years, and DTB is delighted to be able to provide hospitality packages for our clients and their guests.

The Royal Opera House

The Royal Opera House is located in London’s Covent Garden, making it easily accessible by public transport. It is important to note that there is no designated parking at the Opera House, but there are car parks nearby.

Performances will start on time and latecomers will not be admitted to a performance until the interval, so it is wise to arrive early. There are a number of restaurants and bars within the location at which you can enjoy a meal and a drink before the show. If you prefer, we can help you by creating a full hospitality package that includes dining. Contact one of our advisors for more information.
