London Fashion Week for autumn 2016 is scheduled to take place September 16-20 in a number of venues, including the Brewer Street Car Park and ICA at The Mall. This annual event is one of the most talked about in the fashion world and one for which corporate hospitality tickets tend to sell out quickly. The big secret to know about London Fashion Week is that hospitality tickets are limited. Only a select few have the opportunity to be part of this incredible, high fashion event.
Held in both February and September, London Fashion Week is on par with similar shows in Paris, Milan, and New York. It is considered one of the 'big four' in the world of fashion. The inaugural week dates back to 1984.
Estimates suggest that the event generates total orders of between £40 million and £100 million, placed mainly by corporate buyers looking to stock their shelves with the finest money can buy. But buyers are not the only ones in attendance. They are joined by thousands of members of the press along with celebrities, politicians, designers and, of course, the models that make each year's designs look so good.
A Place to See and Be Seen
From a corporate hospitality standpoint, London Fashion Week ranks right up there with some of the more popular red carpet events we are involved with. The environment is somewhat unique in that high fashion tends to attract a certain crowd, but it is the place to see and be seen if fashion and clothing are what interest you. In addition to rubbing shoulders with others who love fashion, London Fashion Week also puts you at the cutting-edge of what everyone else will be buying just weeks later.
Following London Fashion Week is London Fashion Weekend, a retail event that is open to the general public. What better way to prepare for a weekend of fantastic shopping than to attend the official events that precede the retail bonanza via London Fashion Week?
