A few weeks ago, we published a post discussing the fact that Premier League football team Chelsea is planning a major stadium upgrade at Stamford Bridge. At this point, it looks as if construction will begin sometime in spring 2016 and last four years. In the meantime, Chelsea is looking for a temporary venue to house the team until the new stadium is completed. We have also since learned that the club has decided to pursue football hospitality in full force.
The latest report out of Stamford Bridge is that Chelsea intends to increase the number seats from just over 41,000 to 60,000. Yet expansion will only result in the creation of 715 additional season tickets. The rest will be going toward increasing corporate hospitality capacity. Home fans will not suffer too much though as officials plan to scale back the number of seats available to visiting fans. Those fans will be restricted to the upper tier in the new stadium.
Chelsea is also looking at the possibility of establishing a club area similar to what already exists at the Emirates (Arsenal) and Wembley. Tickets for those exclusive areas can run to thousands of pounds annually, but they are well worth the price for companies with established corporate hospitality budgets. They make it possible to provide an incredible football experience not soon forgotten by guests.
DTB and Chelsea FC
Chelsea FC is one of our favourite football hospitality partners here at DTB. We are always thrilled to be able to offer various hospitality packages at Stamford Bridge throughout the football season. This year we have four packages available, with starting prices ranging from £195pp to £295pp. We will continue to keep an eye on the progress of the new Stamford Bridge from its earliest stages through to completion. When the new stadium does open, we expect the football hospitality opportunities to be better than ever.
If your company or organisation is looking to take advantage of football hospitality, we have plenty of choices available to you. In addition to Chelsea FC, we also offer tickets for Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, West Ham, and Tottenham. We will be there for the Champions League as well.
Football is arguably the most popular sport in the world. It is exciting and entertaining, and it creates an atmosphere of camaraderie and community. That may be why our clients appreciate it so much. When an organisation can structure a corporate hospitality event around football, it can simultaneously create bonds of loyalty between company and client, management and staff, or any other groups they wish to entertain.
When you work with DTB for football hospitality, you always get the best prices at the best venues in the UK. In addition, you get the DTB commitment to unparalleled customer service. We want you and your guests to be thrilled beyond measure with every event you schedule with us. We work hard to make it happen.
