Twickenham Rugby Stadium
Twickenham Stadium is the largest rugby union stadium in the United Kingdom and has recently been enlarged to seat 82,000. This makes it the second largest stadium in the UK after Wembley Stadium. The stadium is the home of the Rugby Football Union (RFU), and as such primarily a venue for rugby union.
Easily accessible by road, air, train and foot, Twickenham truly is a stadium for the people. During matches, the stadium prides itself on sporting atmosphere, where the most ardent of rugby fans sit happily alongside families and children. Banter is often exchanged between rival fans but this merely adds to the inspiring atmosphere.
