Old Billingsgate is an extraordinary and unique venue, situated in a prime position on the River Thames with views across to Tower Bridge, London Bridge and the South Bank. A fantastic clear open space combined with modern architecture make it the perfect venue for all types of corporate, private and summer events.
If the weather is warm, an outside drinks reception is possible on the venue’s private terrace. Should the weather be cooler, the east arch of the main hall will be used as the reception area. The Mezzanine level is available for a VIP reception, additional dining space or a chill out/games area.
A large fabric divide will be hung under the central mezzanine to create the definition between the reception area and the dining room. Guests will be called through to dinner at which time the curtain will open to reveal a visually spectacular dining room with the main feature being the stunning stage set.
The stage will be located centrally against the west wall and includes two projection screens and a clean contemporary backdrop. The dance floor is directly in front of the stage and a full nightclub rig will be incorporated to come alive after dinner.
Exclusive use of Old Billingsgate Market:
This includes the riverside terrace, the ground floor and the mezzanine for the party.
The current timings for the party are 7.00pm-12.30am, with bars closing 30 mins prior to the end of the party. Extensions to these timings can be arranged at an extra cost. Access is available during the day for deliveries from 11am.
Event Capacities:
It will comfortably hold 2,400 people for a buffet and 1,100 for a seated dinner and allows a large space for a stage sets and entertainment.
**NB: This is a large venue so the event can be bespoked to cater for your party needs.
