Football crowds are passionate & loud but the atmosphere at Craven Cottage is friendly and the vast majority of fans are welcoming to first time visitors or new supporters. Improvements in stadium facilities have led to an increasingly diverse fan base in the Barclays Premier League.
Regular supporters will encourage their side by chanting, cheering and singing throughout the entire game. Noisy support is encouraged, but abusive behaviour or inappropriate chants or songs will not be tolerated. If you encounter any poor behaviour during your visit this can be reported to any Club steward or staff member located in your area of the stadium.
Although supporters will stand up from time to time during exciting periods of play, to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the game supporters are asked to remain seated whenever possible. Persistent standing is not permitted. This rule is also policed by Club stewards, who can help in cases where your view is being impeded by another fan.
Catering outlets are open pre-match and also at half-time, when they tend to be most busy. You will also find betting facilities (over 18s only), toilets & baby changing facilities located within the vicinity of each stand.
There are close to 800 staff members in and around the stadium on a matchday, so you are never far from assistance at any point in your visit.
