About Carling Cup

In 2011, Birmingham City pulled off an unlikely 2-1 win against Arsenal, becoming the 7th team to raise the Cup in the past 10 years. The other teams that have won in the past decade are Manchester United (3 times), Chelsea (twice), Middlesbrough, Blackburn, Liverpool and Spurs.

The 2012 Carling Cup Final will be held at Wembley Stadium, London, on February 26. The 90,000-seater stadium is one of the world's best, offering superb views from every seat and excellent facilities.

The draw is announced in the middle of June with the first round in the second week of August. There are five rounds before the semi finals in January.

Premiership Clubs enter the draw in the second round. Only the final is held at Wembley. The semi-finals are played over one leg at one of the teams' home ground.
